Belonging + Relationships
Children practice entering play, making friends, communicating needs, navigating conflict, collaborating, caring for younger children, repairing after hard moments, and learning what it feels like to truly belong in a community.

Long stretches of child-directed play give children time to invent, build, pretend, create games, tell stories, make plans, negotiate with others, solve problems, and return to ideas over time.
Nature + the Living World
Children observe seasonal change, weather, plants, animals, insects, soil, trees, habitats, and the rhythms of the natural world. They learn by noticing, wondering, investigating, and returning to the same places again and again.

A Village-Style Community for Families
Rooted Grove Collective is designed not only as a place for children to learn and belong, but as a community where families can feel supported too.
We intentionally cultivate a village-style environment where parents and caregivers can build relationships, share resources, connect with one another, and feel less alone in the work of raising and educating children.
Depending on their child’s age and enrollment needs, caregivers may remain onsite or attend independently. When caregivers are onsite, they are welcome to work, rest, connect, or simply enjoy the space while children participate in programming.
Parents are not expected to facilitate or lead activities. The goal is to create a community where both children and the adults who care for them have room to feel supported, connected, and at home.
