About the event
Join us for a cozy afternoon of woodland weaving!
Children will begin by exploring the natural surroundings and gathering materials such as leaves, grasses, twigs, and other woodland treasures. Then they’ll use those finds, along with yarn and other provided materials, to create their own woven nature art.
Younger participants will work with prepared looms, while older children may have the opportunity to build a simple loom from branches before beginning their weaving.
This workshop is designed for ages 4 and older and will be intentionally small so children have plenty of support and space to create.
Drop-off is welcome, and caregivers are also welcome to stay.
All weaving supplies will be provided. Please dress children for the weather, as part the workshop will take place outdoors.
